Watch out Picasso

I came home from work the other day and opened the back door only to find Gio and Dom looking like the picture on the right! I asked them what had happened and they both said that they were decorating themselves to look like Spiderman. The best part of it all was it was during Luciano's watch and he had no clue. He too could not stop laughing at these two meatballs!

Is it time to make him float

We are at my cousin Erica's sons baptism and after a long mass, it was time for the private baptismal ceremony. Between mass and the ceremony, Gio asked my cousin Jackie, "Is it time for Grayson to float?"

Pulling an Aunt Lisa

Tonight while I was cleaning the table off after dinner, I dropped a napkin and as I bent down to pick it up, I noticed someone's autograph on the wall. Plain as day in pen, it read, "GIO". I looked over to my little man and asked him to explain how is name got on the wall. With his head tilted ever so slightly and a giant grin, he replies, "You know Mommy, I think it was Dominic!"

Teeny Weeny

Gio, Dominic, and I went for a walk through the neighborhood tonight and saw one of the neighbors walking their brand new puppy. Gio goes to the neighbor, " I like your teener wiener dog."

Cory's Got A Headcake

Last night, Cory and Nella babysat the boys. Cory went home early. I asked Dominic the next morning how was it having Cory and Nella over. Gio butted in and said Cory didn't feel well. I then asked the boys why. Dominic replied, "Cory's got a head cake!".

Gio's 1st Emotional Moment

So, I come home from work and the house is clean, dinner in the oven, the kids are playing nicely at the table coloring pictures, and to top it off, Luciano had a gift of perfume for me. I went over and gave him a big hug and kiss to say thank you. While we were in the embrace, Gio started crying a sweet, happy cry. I bent down and asked him if he was ok and why he was crying. He then replies, "I love it when you hug Daddy. It makes me so happy!". My heart instantly melted and made me realize even more than I already do how important it is to let your kids see you and your husband interact and be affectionate.
